This week's featured seller is Crystal from Pampered Ponytails.
Tell us about yourself.(Name, Location, Shop Name, etc)
My name is Crystal. I live in Thomasville, NC. I am 34 years old and a stay at home mom of three wonderful daughters. My shop name is PamperedPonytails, my daughter's named it for me!
What made you want to start crafting?
I have always been creative and loved to craft from an early age. My grandmother helped with that being a painter herself. I loved taking something ordinary and making it different from what everyone else had.
What do you sell?
I sell all kinds of paper goods. Anything from notepads to custom promo items, and anything in between.
What makes you different from other sellers?
I don't know how different I am from other paper good sellers, but I try to be. I like to try to keep things simple, but fun. I think that describes my style.
What advice to you have for other crafters?
Do what you love. Try out different techniques and apply them to what you do now. I have learned so much, just from listing to my friends and customers and applying it into my products.
Do you have an items in your store that you love? Tell us about it.
I love my mini notepads. I a paper junkie, so I love making them with all types of paper in various sizes. I have a minimus of 5 sitting around my workspace at any given time so I can jot down any notes or ideas that I have, so I don't forget.
Tell us about your newest item for sale?
My Owl Notes - a set of 5 note cards. These are just the beginning of the notecard sets that I am going to make. I love cute little embellishments and I will be incorporating them in different sets of notecards.
Where do you see yourself going with your craft in the future?
Keep doing what I am doing, but experimenting with new and different techniques. I would love to learn to sew, the one thing that I can't do yet, and use that with expanding my current products.
Where can we buy your products?
Currently in my etsy store right now.

Sophia's Hair Clips
I have been having so much fun making these hair clips. My daughter's collection of hair "pretties" are growing as well. Every time I make a clip for the shop, Sophia gets a clip as well.
I took her grocery shopping with me yesterday and the cashier loved the hair clip that Sophia had on. She had a little girl the same age and was telling me how are it is to find things that will stay in her hair. I was having the same problem, but not anymore! I'm going to try to make a hair clip to match every one of her outfits. This may take a while!

Featured Seller 8/25- 8/31
This weeks featured seller is Andrea of The Cuddle Shop
Tell us about yourself.(Name, location, etc)
My name is Andrea and I live on the coast of Virginia. I’m 22 years old and I am majoring in Computer Arts.
What made you want to start crafting?
I have always loved doing anything artsy. I got very interested in sewing because of my Girl Scout Leader who is a Seamstress. She taught me the basics of sewing and a few years after I had graduated from girl scouts I got a sewing machine and taught myself how to sew with that. Now I can’t stop sewing! I love it a lot.
What do you sell?
I sell handmade sock monkeys of all sizes and for all ages.
What makes you different from other sellers?
I have been working hard to keep my sock monkeys different from the others out there. I have been working on my own styles and my own ideas.
What advice to you have for other crafters?
I would say that if you love what you’re doing then never give up. Also to try new things and have fun.
Do you have an items in your store that you love? Tell us about it.
I love all my sock monkeys but my very favorite that is in my shop right now is Punkin, my Halloween Jack-O-Lantern Sock Monkey. He comes with his own little felt trick or treat bag and I just love the way he turned out.
Tell us about your newest item for sale?
My newest item for sale is my Frosty the Snow Monkey. I’ve been listing a few Christmas items early. I’ll be listing them as I make them. He turned out better than I expected! He’s cute and super soft!
Where do you see yourself going with your craft in the future?
I’m always improving so in the future I see myself with newer ideas and my skill perfected more than it is now. Also I would like to be making clothing and I would like to have started making cloth dolls again.
Where can we buy your products?
Currently my products are only for sale on etsy.
